Let Fall Begin!

Hey Peeps!
I found out, just this very week, that there is a canned pumpkin shortage.
 I had no idea!
Fortunately, I found it out just in time for the shortage to be over.

Thank Heaven!
Fall couldn't start, at my house, without the canned Pumpkinny goodness
 of
The Worlds Easiest Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies.
Yes...It is true...Worlds Easiest!
Better than the kind you buy at the store because you bake them yourself....
with love.
 (Cheesy, but true.)

So!
 Let Fall Begin!
(Can't find camera, so bear with me)

Here is the Super Secret Recipe-
Take one can (small can) of Canned Pumpkin Puree

Mix it with 1 box of Spice Cake mix

Add one bag of Chocolate chips
Scoop onto greased cookie sheet
and
Bake at 350 for 8-15 minutes depending on the size of scoop.
(The don't really brown, or burn)

Here is the hard part- Let them cool off just a little bit, so that you don't burn the skin off the roof of your mouth, and try not to eat them all by yourself. I have done it before...it's not pretty.

Have a great Fall weekend!
                                          Jana!

  1. Mmmmmmmm! Yummy! I actually made my own pumpkin purée for treats last year. Not hard just takes a little time.

  6. I bought a spice cake mix 3 weeks ago because it sounded good, but I haven't been inspired to make it as of yet. I'm way into pumpkin right now (and I'm ALWAYS into chocolate) so this is the perfect recipe. I'm making these babies right this second! Thanks, lady!
